A Dog’s Life

The unhurried, unworried, and content contemplation of my dog is something I’ve become envious of lately. She only thinks of the present and remains unconcerned about the future. She lives in the moment.

She depends on us for food and shelter, but what she doesn’t know is that we depend on her too. We depend on her to be a constant source of unwavering love and affection in our crazy lives. She is always there to greet us, play with us, relax with us, and entertain us.

She is never concerned about tomorrow. She is content with today; we should be so lucky.
